Breast

The Gillette Centers for Women's Cancers offer comprehensive, individualized services for women with confirmed breast cancer. Patient care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of specialists from surgical oncology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology, with consultative support from specialists in radiology, pathology, and psychiatry, as well as social workers and other healthcare professionals experienced in addressing the needs of women with breast cancer.

Patients have access to the latest treatment approaches in surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and immunotherapy, as well as a broad array of clinical trials. Also provided is long-term follow-up care, genetic counseling and risk assessment for cancer patients and their family members, reproductive medicine counseling, symptom management, and evaluation of breast lumps and other breast problems. In addition, these centers offer educational programs and support groups, a resource center with cancer information, and a boutique with products for women with cancer.
